Hospice 101 offered at Lied Public Library

The Lied Public Library in Clarinda is hosting Hospice 101 with Care Initiatives Hospice later this month.
Library Director Andrew Hoppmann says the program is for those who may have to navigate hospice in the future.

"A lot of times when people are confronted with dealing with hospice, it can be a stressful time for them.  By having the opportunity to come and talk with people involved in hospice care, it's a way to kind of have an understanding of what's coming and what services hospice offer when you're not really dealing with a lot of other stresses at the same time."

The Lied Public Library's Hospice 101 will be held Thursday, September 26th at two p.m. For more information, go to clarindapubliclibrary.com.
